Yes, I'd like to have inverse texture mapping.  The orthographic
projection occurs in art photography only approximately and for very
long focal lengths, where perspective control usually is not needed.

But the typical use case for perspectve control seems to me the
simulation of a shift lens, and here, you need the uniaxial scaling
of the orthographic image.
