Hi! I'm thinking about getting some new hardware for my creative work. That is photo editing with Darktable (and GIMP etc), video editing and graphical design. A was thinking about the following setup:
CPU: AMD FX 8350 GPU AMD HD 7850 2GB GDDR5 overclocked Motherboard: not quite sure but maybe a ASUS M5A97...? As OS I'm running different Linux distributions and I'm not planning to run any Windows on the setup. What's your opinion regarding use with Darktable (and in general, as well)? Does anyone have any experience with this or similar hardware? Opinions? Tips?
