I realise any advice will depend on your use-case, for example if all you are doing is publishing on the web then printing is irrelevant, but some of this gets down to "what are you doing?" Is this a hobby or are you a professional? What volume? What kind of processing? That's going to affect your decisions and our advice. But as 'generic' observations ... function and performance * You don't mention display or printing. * Plenty of screen real estate, wide or even dual ... * Then there's the issue of how colour appears on screen vs what you get printed - corrections to same. * You don't mention storage or access speed * Oh, and gobs and gobs and gobs of memory on the motherboard! That always helps.
