In addendum to the OPs comment: I think it would be better
to have an individual file for each of these presets and to
ingest a folder (recursive folder structure) of files. This
would also help if you want to copy only a hand full of
presets or to share them. E.g. share only those that are
finished and not those still in the working.
It might also be desirable to be able to specify the
location (thinking of a networked stetup, e.g. or the
currently "modern" stuff like dropbox etc.)
Also, if these files are sort of plain text (xml or the
like) one could easily adopt git and friends for versioning.
Might also be helpful in sharing those presets.

I'd also suggest to allow the ingestion of a folder here
with a number of style files. (See the blurb above ;)

Also without tried, but the OPs suggestion sounds like
solvable with the LUA scripting stuff recently introduced.
Especially, cause it contains a loop. Unfortunately, I did
not yet have time to dive into that myself.
