I suppose that the original question was for a kind of feature similar 
to the "lighttable" of DigiKam(1) --- having two images in a split 
screen, with zoom and pan locked together. Great to choose the best 
image in a burst. If this is what Chris was looking for, I do not think 
that DT has it.

(1) as far as I know, DigiKam let you do that just with jpegs, not raw 
--- unless it changed recently, which is a bit of a showstopper for me.
