First you need to uninstall the previous version of do_mysql. Also you need to build data_objects 0.9.10 since is required by the new gem you just built (rake gem install) This is my output (on Linux) adding the printf lines: http://pastie.org/349478 Again, I believe the require from inside the C extension for data_object is useless.
