DateTime::Format was rejected for making it sound like you would use it to format a date. Dave R's first suggestion was for DateTime::Rendition (iirc -- might have been Presentation?) DateTime::Formats could be read as a verb but not as an infinitive nor an imperative, which are the formats :) that are used to inidcate verb-ness in modules, imo. ( Purl, Format this!; # Purl says 'alright' Purl, Formats this!; # Purl says, 'no I don't ) Does that make sense? How about DateTime::StringFormat ? or DateTime::Rendition DateTime::Rendering DateTime::Articulation DateTime::Depiction DateTime::Interpretation or how about DateTime::Structure ==>Webster's Main Entry: structure Pronunciation: 'str&k-ch&r Function: noun Etymology: Middle English, from Latin structura, from structus, past participle of struere to heap up, build -- more at STREW Date: 15th century [...] 3 : manner of construction : MAKEUP <Gothic in structure> 4 a : the arrangement of particles or parts in a substance or body <soil structure> <molecular structure> b : organization of parts as dominated by the general character of the whole <economic structure> <personality structure> 5 : the aggregate of elements of an entity in their relationships to each other <== hth, - nick ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nick Tonkin {|8^)>
