Hi Ada,

You have to rebuild a new kernel if you want to use the DaVinci EVM as an usb device.

change following settings in menuconfig:

   * go to drivers / usb
   * activate host
   * go to drivers / usb / gadget, activate gadget, choose one or more
     driver
   * go to drivers / usb, activate inventra highspeed dual speed
     controler and the mode "usb peripheral"
   * check under drivers / usb / gadget if inventra is selected
   * go to drivers / usb and DEACTIVATE host

compile your new kernel and copy it to de EVM or use tftpboot

Regards,
Patrik

Hello,

Can anyone tell me how to configure davinci EVM as a usb device? I have changed the jumper j7. By default the usb connector j10 is A type receptacle. Do we need to change the connector also? ( we have A to A connector. Will it not work? ) Please give the procedure to configure it as a usb client.

Regards,

Ada
