Just wondering here. Did you recreate the logpath before trying to connect?? Your messages seem to indicate that the log files that should be created at first connect are not and therefore cannot be found. If you are running at V7.x, one way out of this could be to restore the db (if it's an offline backup image) without rolling forward and specify the newlogpath parm in the command. HTH, Pierre.
