Turgut, what you have to send is the logheader files and not the logfiles. log header 
files are under your database path. list db directory will give you the database path. 
There is a file with ".LFH"
extension. This is where db2 store the log information. from what you are doing, looks 
like this database is not that critical. I would send the logfile header to IBM and 
get it fixed (IBM disclaimers
apply). But if you want to play with it, try editing this header file with the sector 
editor and see if you can fix it. Compare the contents with another DB you have.
 I disagree to your comments of letting DB2 start from  some log files. That defeats 
the purpose of the logfiles. What about database integrity :-) What if you deleted the 
database directory by
mistake, instead of log directory :-) And finally what about the money IBM makes on 
annual maintenance contracts ;-)
