Patch applied.

HEAD doesn't compile currently. We can test this later on. Perhaps we
should prepare a patch for 2.0 branch as well?

Should patch against dbmail_2_0_branch... In HEAD many of the auth_* calls
were moved back to db_*; I used the auth_* variants.

I double checked the patch against dbmail_2_0_branch, and it applies
cleanly with a 6 line offset. We'll have to revisit it in HEAD, because it
probably is using the wrong set of auth_* / db_* calls.

Paul, you made the 'upstream' auth/db changes, would you mind taking a
look at this patch?
