Pardon me, but you're not being blunt so much as simply demanding. Questions like, "I did X and expected Y but got Z, could someone lend me a hand getting to Y?" are accessible for people to help you.
Statements like, "Your effort at writing documentation isn't good enough because I don't know what I'm reading" are not conducive to receiving the largess of others. I'm sorry to hear that you haven't had any luck yet getting DBMail up and running, but you most certainly haven't given anybody any useful information upon which to base a helpful response.
