If putting a proxy in front of DBMail solves the spin-lock problems, I'd
really like to know about it.
I use starttls myself, and haven't seen this. At least not in dbmail.
Suffered a similar problem in a completely unrelated python stack over
the last week, though, so I should know where to look.
