INDONESIA:
Widow wants bombers executed
An Australian woman whose husband was killed in the Bali bombings said
today she wished the Indonesian government would hurry up and execute
those found guilty of the terrorist attack.
Natalie Grezl Juniardi, who was three months pregnant with her second
child when the Bali bomb killed her husband John, said it it was difficult
to carry on with her own life when she was confronted with photographs and
reports about the terrorists.
"Every time you see their name or their face, it brings so much anger and
tears," she told ABC radio.
"You just wish that they would hurry up and do the executions so we would
get on with our life as well, not have to worry about them."
Ms Grezl Juniardi said every anniversary and birthday had been difficult
to deal with since her husband died on October 12, 2002, but she had
carried on with the help of her 2 sons.
"Every anniversary, whether it's the 12 of October or their birthday or
your marriage date, all are difficult," said Ms Grezl Juniardi who runs a
surf board shop in Bali.
"But this year I feel I'm quite strong compared to the first anniversary.
"But I've been feeling a bit down today. "It's really difficult going past
Sari Club every day but life goes on and I try to handle it as best I can.
"Having the 2 boys makes me keep going and work hard and just to do what
John used to do."
