lspci -n shows the numeric value which is easier to lookup.

I think it should be this one:
vendor: 8086 ("Intel Corporation"), device: 10de ("82567LM-3 Gigabit Network 
Connection")

2.6.26 was released July 13 2008, so there is no way Debian 5.0 can have
support for that network card.

2.6.32 from backports would though.
