The status protocol from Pan (when it failes) you can see in the attachement. > could you setup again the server's password in pan's server setup window ? Yippie! This was the solution: I reset the password in the servers setup, then it opens the keyring, where I configured a keyring pass. Then I closed Pan and reopened it and then authentification worked. I think, the main solution was to install the gcr-package. And the error was that the gnome-keyring wasn't installed fully. With the gcr-package it was solved but I had to re-input the Newsserver password in the setup of Pan. > Besides that, I'm out of ideas. Authentication is working fine on my system > (KDE desktop).
