I see. Now I see the whole picture.

During the wheezy release cycle, I did not have time for SCIM but
mentioned that scim-bridge is the future of SCIM and keeping it is
essential for working environment.

Rolf argued differently and stated that is non-essential part he can do
without. So hedicided to to drop them and stick with old ways.

(I thought I added scim-bridge support in 2010 thinking that should save
SCIM in the long run.)

I think upstream made right decision on this matter.

Anyway, it seems Debian wheezy scim should have added some README to
help people like Takashi. But that may require jessie.

(I know ibus is also broken (not as badly ...)... so I need to fix it.)

I think the best thing we can do is to keep this as wishlist bug and fix
it for good in jessie. ntil then, people has to use scim without
scim-bridge or use uim/ibus/fcitx.

Osamu
