I also have tried scim and scim-anthy from Jessie by temporarily adding Jessie entry to /etc/apt/sources.list. It works fine except for: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=675715 By the way, when I installed them from Jessie, libc6 was also updated to Jessie version. If I remove scim and scim-anthy, is there any way to recover wheezy version of libc6?
Are you sure that no other packages were updated from jessie as well? I am not sure if downgrading libc6 like that is not going to cause problems...
You can download binary packages by following the links on the PTS pages. http://packages.debian.org/sid/libc6 has mirror links to the binary packages for the different architectures on the bottom.
