Now I have tested it with a new user and it does not have this problem. However, I have even this problem, if I log into the console without X.
I have removed my ~/.bashrc and ~/.bash_login plus ~/.config/mc and ~/.cache/mc and the error persist. On the other side, it pase som old copied things into the open file which came from editing of a CSS file.
