FYI, I ran into exactly the same issue.

So, probably more people will run into it.
I have manually removed libpng12-0, apparently I still had this lib depeding on
it:
he following packages have unmet dependencies:
libpoppler46 : Depends: libpng12-0 (>= 1.2.13-4) but it is not going to be
installed
The following actions will resolve these dependencies:
Remove the following packages:
1) libpoppler46 [0.26.5-4 (now)]
So I said Yes, and this resulted in:
The following packages will be REMOVED:
libfile-find-rule-perl{u} libnumber-compare-perl{u} libpng12-0{p}
libpoppler46{a} libtext-glob-perl{u} usrmerge{u}
So, I just removed these... and then the upgrade worked again.
