Package: apt-cacher Version: 1.5.5 Severity: normal I'm trying to set the debian installer to use the apt-cacher service installed on another computer in my local network, using this address as the mirror: "http://cacher-ip:3241" and "debian/" as dir.
This fails with the message: "The Debian miirror is not available or doesn't have a valid distribution file. Please try with another mirror" FYI: I'm successfully using apt-cacher locally (e.g.: to create a chroot), and no I don't have any kind of firewall in the apt-cacher computer.
