http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=630042 The errors we're seeing are when we attempt to read image files that came from a scanner which produces G4 encoded TIFF files (it's a network scanner that uploads TIFF files over FTP). This tends to suggest the problem is with the decoding rather than the encoding. The result is that our client's image processing application is no longer usable on squeeze.
