Sorry for the delayed response here. I've been away from the computer this weekend and somehow overlooked the bug coming in last week. But I am now aware of it and will look into it.

Do you know whether the problem occurred after the most recent security update? There was a security fix to some of the code that affects G4. I will take a closer look and see whether a recent update may be responsible for this problem. I'll try to get something up as soon as I can to fix it, but updating the stable release is slow. Let's see if maybe this is a regression caused by the security fix in squeeze2. I'll try to get to this within the next day or two, but any assistance in the investigation would be gratefully appreciated. For example, if you could determine whether the problem affects 3.9.4-5+squeeze1 or the versions in wheezy and sid. You could temporarily install the wheezy or sid libtiff4 packages on squeeze; there are no incompatible changes in the dependencies at this point. You could then go back to the squeeze version after testing. If you don't have time or inclination, no problem. I will test as soon as I can. -- Jay Berkenbilt <[email protected]> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [email protected]
