I could be taking your words to mean something you didn't want them to mean, but please don't say stuff like that... So god isn't petty, but then s/he is concerned with the probability of an electron switching between atomic orbitals, and similar stuff? Just because quantum physics is strange and we don't understand it very well doesn't imply that god exists. Not many years back, things like thunders, lightning and eclipses were taken as definite proof... You can try to justify it whichever way you like, in the end god's existence is down to personal belief. You're either inclined to believe or you're not. Neither of the two is better than the other, they're just two different conditions, much as being black or white, or male or female. Of course, many people use these differences to justify their prejudices. Just for the record, I'm not a believer myself (but maybe tomorrow I'll learn or experience something that makes me change my mind). I think religious belief is very important for many people, who wouldn't be able to cope without it (go read Kurt Vonnegut's "Cat's Craddle"). I feel very strongly against any form of organised religion with definite hierarchies: invariably the people on top abuse other's beliefs to pursue their own ends. Nuno
