Ok. Agreed. (sorry - I was thinking too much in the mindset of Skolelinux _not_ being Debian, because too much is currently derived for it to be). >> For each choice taken away (or wiped, hidden, suppressed, overruled or >> whatever you wanna call it) by a CDD, you are free to put it back again, >> but in doing so you release yourself from that aspect of the CDD. > > CDD is about suggesting the admin the installation we consider > optimal. And remember to tell those africans being given a Skolelinux CD that what they have is only a suggestion - the rest can be had off the Internet. How to only "suggest" KDE over GNOME when the medium defined as a criterium for the CDD barely leaves room for one of them? (if your answer is that "distro space" is not a limiting factor, then tell Skolelinux that their criteria are wrong). - Jonas - -- * Jonas Smedegaard - idealist og Internet-arkitekt * Tlf.: +45 40843136 Website: http://dr.jones.dk/ - Enden er nær: http://www.shibumi.org/eoti.htm -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFClIVSn7DbMsAkQLgRAmhmAJ4gNh61NIFzpdJdOu9bH5Tw9ylKgwCfdly5 FlnUML0koNWNH3ek77g6bkU= =SwwD -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
