Hi, I filed a bug on this, but wanted to get other people's opinions since it was quickly closed. The 'Netscape' gnome panel item in 'Programs' -> 'Internet' uses the meta-command gnome-moz-remote. For most (some?) people, I guess this launches netscape. For me it launches galeon since that is my preferred GNOME web browser. (set in ~/.gnome/gnome-moz-remote) IMO, I think that 'Netscape' should explicitly use the command 'netscape' and there could be a 'Mozilla control' or 'GNOME web browser' item for gnome-moz-remote. For example, 'Programs' -> 'Applications' -> 'Vim' correctly has 'gvim' explicitly and not the meta-command $EDITOR. Here is the bug, http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=135282. Does anyone feel the same?
Thanks, Ryan
