I expect nsd to solve the security issues for authoritative name servers and it has a good upgrade path from BIND. That leaves me to just find a good caching server. I'll talk to my contacts regarding getting some partial funding for such development work by the same people who did nsd. From what I've seen of nsd they have done an excellent job, paying them to do the same for a caching name server is probably the best thing that could happen. -- http://www.coker.com.au/selinux/ My NSA Security Enhanced Linux packages http://www.coker.com.au/bonnie++/ Bonnie++ hard drive benchmark http://www.coker.com.au/postal/ Postal SMTP/POP benchmark http://www.coker.com.au/~russell/ My home page -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
