Hi team! As Jonathan said, both are perfect synonyms. I am specially inclined to use "archivo" because a lot of spanish documentation translates "file" as "archivo" (KDE and Microsoft comes to my mind). Anyway i don't think that this is an important matter and both options could coexist. Greetings, Marcos.
