Hi Roland,

Thank you for asking for clarification. Let me explain what I meant.

I am building a custom Debian-based distribution using XFCE as the desktop
environment. My goal is to keep it minimal and privacy-focused. I do NOT
want the following in the default image:

- No web browser (I will include Helium Browser instead)
- No LibreOffice or any office suite
- No extra fonts or language packs
- No unnecessary background services

What I DO need is:
- A working XFCE desktop environment
- WiFi, Bluetooth, and audio support
- A clean base — around 20-30 packages — just enough for a functional
desktop

I will add my own applications (Helium Browser, Zed Editor) on top of this
minimal base.

I am not asking the Debian Live team to do this for me — I just wanted
guidance on which packages are truly necessary for a minimal XFCE live
image, so I can build my own package list.

Hope this makes it clearer. Thank you!

Best regards,
