Hi, dear engineers.

I have a question about: https://ftp-master.debian.org/new.html

I’ve been contributing to Debian for about a year, and during that time I’ve
never encountered such long processing times for my packages. Previously,
they
were added to unstable fairly quickly, but now I’ve been waiting for 2–5
months. Maybe there is something wrong with my packages? Or maybe they don’t
want to accept packages specifically from me? Or is this normal practice and
I should just be patient since this is Open Source? Please give me some
advice, friends. In the future, I plan to take on a few more packages for
maintenance.

The transition from the old FTP Masters team to the new DFSG team has caused a
large backlog in NEW. Everyone is in the same boat, waiting for packages that
have been stuck in NEW for a while. However, now that the transition has been
completed, it is hoped that packages will begin to move through NEW quickly
now.

Got it - thank you for the explanation.
And sorry for the accidental empty message earlier. I’m using NeoMutt with
Gmail, and due to how Gmail handles Sent mail, NeoMutt created a duplicate copy,
which resulted in an unintended extra email being sent. The issue is fixed now.

Thanks again for the info!
