It failed. I booted using 4 different boot prompt parameters: none; aic7xxx=no_probe; aic7xxx=no_reset; and aic7xxx=no_probe,no_reset. All four times, the system froze after the "419 instructions downloaded..." line, for a good minute, which I interpreted as failure. Any more suggestions? I really want to get Linux running.
