The iptables has already been installed. I added "up iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o ppp0 -j MASQUERADE" to the /etc/network/interfaces and restarted networking, it did not work. I then rebooted the laptop, it still did not work. Now, ping from the desktop on wifi local network got backward, please see following result: # ping -c 2 www.google.com ping: www.google.com: Host name lookup failure Thank you.
