That's one of the failures.
Has that worked for anyone?
I dunno.
How about:
tasksel tasksel/first multiselect standard, desktop
d-i preseed/early_command string . /usr/share/debconf/confmodule; db_get
debconf/priority; case $RET in low|medium) db_fset tasksel/first seen
false ;; esac
That appears to touch on the problem's cause.
I did not try it as:
1. it did not match the template given in the documentation.
2. though I suspect I have a glimmer of its purpose, I do not
understand
the code. I do not run code I don't understand. Also, a
significant
motivation of my actions is understanding Linux.
The problem actually revolves around the installer (both Squeeze
and Wheezy) default boot line including "priority=critical" for
an automatic install. I have not satisfied myself whether that
should be reported as a bug against installer or against
documentation. Does problem still exist in Jessie or later? Not
having a high speed connection, it would be difficult to verify
for myself.
Thank you for assuming I was intelligent, even if not expert ;)
