It should work, and probably it will soon, but at the moment
Sid/Unstable has received a tonne of updates due to recent Bullseye
release. Things will remain broken or unstable until enough people
report it to Debian devs and/or new, fixed releases of software will
land in Sid.
Hence my suggestion to use Stable -> Unstable, that way you avoid broken
Unstable Installer.
