Is there any clue in the report that bendel gives to you? Sometimes the SMTP-time rejection does have useful information but a lot of the time it will just be generic. Of course even if you do establish what your ESP doesn't like about bendel's forward of Haines' emails, there may well be nothing that you or Haines can do about it.
