I am a member of the freedos list, will ask.
there is a new port of Dr. DOS as well,
www.dr-dos.com
Which I did not consider as it speaks too much of hacker usage.
Honestly Virtualization was not an animal I entertained, because quality speech sources need port definitions.

FreeDOS can run as a guest, under virtualization, but not as a host.
That would create access issues. Linux does not provide, for me personally, solid screen reader and synthesizer options.

If you really want the features of FreeDOS and Linux simultaneously on
a single computer, I believe you would need to install Linux on the
hardware, and run virtualization software on Linux. Then run FreeDOS
as a guest inside the virtualization.

Which for me, adaptive technology wise would be impossible.
unless I create that Linux box in this room, on its own machine, and ssh from my current computer. That removes the need for freedos all together.
Thanks Greg,
Kare
