In xorg.0.log, I don't even get LeftEdge and others any more. It is
because I have removed the Input section which was still here
yesterday. The "synaptics section" of Xorg.0.log was repeated twice:
once like in the current Xorg.0.log and the second time with the options
enabled.
Therefore, it seems that no options come from hal.
