Scott:

Now that you are rejecting Outlook CR "problem" mails simply because they
COULD include a virus (even if so far they all appear to be just SPAM) why
not apply the same logic to the following two problems you have been
detecting and reporting for MANY versions.

Specially the "bugus JPG/URL type" sounds like they are likely new, yet
undetected viruses? Since you are already detecting these "bogus" file
types anyhow, wouldn't it make sense to allow us to REJECT mail based on
their detection?

03/08/2002 09:14:35 Qc743398 Found a bogus .jpg file
03/08/2002 09:14:35 Qc743398 Found a bogus .jpg file
03/08/2002 09:14:35 Qc743398 Found a bogus .jpg file
03/08/2002 09:37:36 Qccae3da Found a bogus .url file
03/08/2002 12:32:14 Qf58d398 Found a bogus .jpg file
03/08/2002 12:41:58 Qf7e03c2 Found a bogus .url file
03/08/2002 12:58:31 Qfbc53a0 Found a bogus .url file
03/08/2002 13:34:29 Q0433398 Found a bogus .url file
03/08/2002 13:39:38 Q0568338 Found a bogus .url file

Same issue with these - since they are not "legitimate" file attachments,
why not allow your Declude Virus users to "reject" these improperly
formatted messages:

03/08/2002 01:20:54 Q5843460 Warning: EOF in middle of MIME segment []
[------=_NextPart_000_00B6_61A31B6B.C3784D81]
03/08/2002 01:51:24 Q5f6b464 Warning: EOF in middle of MIME segment []
[--------------sAAbXVADA=01]
03/08/2002 02:09:39 Q62b0366 Warning: EOF in middle of MIME segment []
[------=_NextPart_000_00B6_08E52D1A.E2536B78]
03/08/2002 03:03:18 Q70434d0 Warning: EOF in middle of MIME segment []
[------=_NextPart_000_00C5_48A63C4B.B1875A31]

They could have a special "bounce" message - instead of "Your email
contained a virus", it would be a special message "Your email is formatted
in a manner that could be disguising a potential virus."
