Thank you for all your thoughts, I really don't want to go away with pascal because it was actually the first programming language that i have come to love and learned, specially when borland releases delphi. On the otherhand, we are force to adopt something that we are not comfortable enough because of market demands and maybe this is also the main reason why borland will junk delphi. We know borland has given us a great product and a great tools but unfortunately because of the call of time, the market demands so to speak and the way microsoft pushed its product on universities, noboby now a days seems to know pascal:-(
I'll give a try on lazarus and just like glen i do have some codes that were stable for a couple of years. For the mean time wait and hope for borland to reconsider its position. ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Something is new at Yahoo! Groups.
