Hello everyone I' doing some test on VISTA with an application right now to test the compatibility.
I'm having a 2 curious situations. First, in USER MODE (not admin), all the Open/Save dialogs in the application refuse to open when being called .The application blur for a moment, we can see that the dialog box is trying to open, we can hear the processor's working, but after 2-3 seconds, the process dies. Could it be the initial dir property of the component trying to access a secured folder(or file) blocked by VISTA? Anyone ever had that problem? How to solve it? Second problem, we have a class using OLE objects (TWordApplication and TWordDocument) to control MS WORD and ceate merge files. But again, in USER MODE (not admin), the application is being blocked when trying to access the mapfile. It's unable to establish a communication with MS WORD. Again, anyone knows how to solve that?
