The RTTI is one big advantage, the Simplicity of doing
things in Delphi 7 vs D5 are much better.
Also most of the documentation examples and info seem
to be geared more towards D7 to put it mildly D5
really does suck.. I have the non pleasure of working
with the crap at work.. where I wish I could rewrite
this application that I work with in D7.. but what
makes it so hard is that D5 all the BS version info
you must include when installing components.. D7 is so
much better.. and if your really up for an upgrade.. I
would look at RAD 2007 it but D7 would give you all
that and then some.. trust me on that one
