Looks like it's MS fault - there are Windows API calls for "Win32
DIBSections" that Delphi uses and that is what is crashing. MS products
don't actually use these functions, so that is why it only happens to
Delphi. MS probably put the calls in, documented them, but never used them
so that other people's software would look bad /;
The BusThrottle thing was mentioned there as well. With BusThrottle=1 and
no graphics acceleration things are pretty damn slow.
