I think it's too plain, it needs more oomph. I like that you made the waveform 
circular. Can you push it more? Rather than a solid thin line on a relatively 
flat background, can you create more visual interest, and somehow connect it to 
a deeper idea?

This artist extruded and 3-D printed wave forms from songs in a circle not 
unlike yours. Can you maybe extrude the wave in Blender?

This one converted the sound wave to a bar chart and gave the bar an 
illustrative style. Can you try a treatment that is atypical for a sound wave 
(like this kind of illustrative style) and come up with a compelling visual?

layering?
