Well, I have a look at that, since I brought the banner back to
Germany :-) The color change isn't that dramatic, but I used a "normal"
camera for taking the pictures.

The banner hasn't been ordered by developers, but (I assume) by someone
of the German team members. If you look closely, this is the very first
version of the logo - the space between TDF logo and the remaining items
is a bit larger. Thus, I assume that this banner had been created before
the branding guidelines were in place ... so no worries (for me).

Concerning the color, an additional thought: this might be the issue
Thomas talked about when using the CMYK issues (or replacing the color
with something that works).
