I don't think we need to *force* users to do anything here. But we could certainly give the option. There would definitely be work in adjusting various feedback dialogs to include the possibility that the account still needs activating. If the sign-up account email doesn't use an email address we know about, we could prompt people on hub-account-access-failure to go check their email. Doesn't it seem plausible that many users will use the same email account, if they bother to supply an email account to Chandler?
