not as bad as 15.04 since 15.10 sometimes comes up with correct wallpaper display while 15.04 practically never does. 14.04-2 LTS runs just fine, thank you. Watching the updates which I do daily, xserver-xorg-intel updates seems to be the most likely to affect the display. I change wallpaper back and forth between two copies of the same jpg, different names, like so: #!/bin/bash gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.background picture-uri 'file:////home/jerry/Pictures/Shark_Island.jpg' exit 0 A bit of a pain but livable for a tester used to half baked releases with problems. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1406802 Title: Vivid Unity Wallpaper horizontally hashed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nautilus/+bug/1406802/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
