Thanks for the investigation. I have now tested this again after mydrive.ch changed their configuration. Passwords containing umlauts (e.g. ä, ö, ü) are working correctly again.
It turns out that the problem was caused by the mydrive.ch server configuration, not by Ubuntu/gvfs. Therefore, this report can be marked as Invalid.
