[desktop-discuss] What features make a desktop OpenSolaris-saavy?

Another important feature is to be able to switch to an external monitor.  The 
xrandr command seems to work quite well on Intel chips, & I hope to see it more 
seamlessly integrated into either GNOME or KDE.
