  HEY! I like the spirit! As far as I know the current plan is to 
integrate this with nautilus.
Calum Benson is the person to talk to, he is GNOME UI designer :). 
Erwann Chenede is
working away on a prototype that Lin Ma and Henry.
  May be Calum can send out some mockup UI to that mailing list or here :)
So that the interested KDE hackers or your self can touch based.

  Do you know of any particular KDE hackers who might be working in this 
area?
I think should project develop, it will be one that crosses Dtrace, 
Desktop and Developer Tools communities.
Pretty Cool but also challenging :)
