Register an account and login.( or use one from
http://www.bugmenot.com/view/bugzilla.gnome.org)
Then just add your comments to the bug. You'll have to convince the
maintainers that this is a feature worth spending time on ( "Do you
still think this a useful feature, and if so,why?" )
